CANVAS 7 is a powerful industrial panel with a 7" colour touchscreen. It combines a logic control system (HORNER PLC) and a touchscreen operator interface (HMI) in a single device. Depending on the model, the number and type of analog and digital inputs and outputs can be selected. If the built-in I/Os are not sufficient for a specific application, they can be expanded via Ethernet, CAN or serial interfaces.

All HORNER Canvas panels offer improved and more powerful graphics, providing a modern look for process visualization and making them suitable for demanding applications. They allow data transmission to the cloud using MQTT. In addition, they are ready for deployment with the upcoming Horner OCS360 Cloud service.

HORNER Canvas 7 is suitable for industrial applications that require reliable control, high performance and a large area for visualization. It is suitable for operations where a larger colour touchscreen and wide communication options are required in one device.

HORNER PLCs combine machine control, operator display and inputs/outputs in one device. If you need a compact solution for a smaller machine, part of a production line, a test station or modernization of older equipment, you do not have to source and combine a separate PLC, HMI panel and I/O modules.

The manufacturer’s training videos show how to connect the panel, work in Cscape, set up communication, use WebMI and work with basic inputs and outputs. They are especially useful during initial commissioning, so you do not have to figure everything out by trial and error.
