SIEMENS SIMATIC S7-1500 central processing units

The CPU is the central controller of the SIMATIC S7-1500 system. It executes the user program, processes input and output data and provides communication with distributed I/O, HMI panels, drives, other PLCs and higher-level systems.

Standard CPU 1511, 1513, 1515, 1516, 1517 and 1518 processors are designed for standard and high-performance automation tasks. They differ in processing performance, work memory and communication interfaces.

Compact CPU 1511C / 1512C

Compact processors combine the CPU with integrated digital and analog inputs and outputs and selected technology functions.

Fail-safe F CPUs
