What these parts do
During braking, the motor returns energy to the DC link. The braking module directs this energy to a suitable braking resistor, where it is converted into heat, helping to limit the rise in DC link voltage.
When it makes sense
They are used in drives with repeated braking, where the system is designed for resistor braking. When selecting a replacement, compare the module, DC link voltage, suitable braking resistor and required load profile.
Send us the full part number or a photo of the nameplate, the quantity required and, for repairs, a description of the fault. We will compare the part version and check availability and options for diagnostics and repair. Customers send faulty parts to us for repair by prior arrangement.
