Use of SIRIUS 3UG parts

The SIEMENS SIRIUS 3UG monitoring relay is used to monitor electrical parameters and the status of the power supply network. Specific models differ in terms of voltage range, monitored statuses, contacts and settings.

Part selection and replacement

The monitoring relay monitors the electrical quantities and states specified for the particular model. When selecting a model, compare the monitored voltage, phase sequence and phase failure, contacts, and threshold or delay settings. The range of functions varies between individual 3UG relays. The preferred replacement model specified by the manufacturer does not automatically confirm direct interchangeability without checking the wiring and settings. Compare the parameters of both devices before replacing them.
