Sensors, ranges and temperature recording
- One measurement input with a DB9 connector. The supply includes one Pt100 sensor with a 2 m cable.
- The measurement input covers -200 to +650 °C. The supplied W&T sensor is rated for -50 to +180 °C. The usable range of the entire measurement is limited by the specific sensor and its design.
- Two-wire, three-wire and four-wire Pt100/Pt1000 connections are supported. The selected sensor type and number of wires must correspond to the input settings and wiring.
- The resolution is 0.1 °C and measurements are updated every 4 seconds. The recording interval can be selected independently: 15 or 30 seconds, or 1, 5, 15 or 60 minutes.
- Up to 12 customisable alerts are available, along with email, SNMP and other network services. The length of the history retained depends on the number of measured channels and the set interval.
Commissioning and accessories
Select sensors according to the required temperature and environment. Check the wiring, shield connection and Pt100/Pt1000 settings. After setting the IP address, select the units, logging interval and alarm limits. The IP20 rating specified applies to the network module itself, not automatically to the probe.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the supplied sensor measure the full range from -200 to +650 °C?
No. This range applies to the measurement input. The supplied W&T sensor has a range of -50 to +180 °C. A suitable, compatible sensor is required for a different range.
How many sensors are included in the delivery?
One measurement input with a DB9 connector. The supply includes one Pt100 sensor with a 2 m cable.
Is resolution the same as accuracy?
No. A resolution of 0.1 °C determines the smallest displayed increment. The total measurement error includes the unit of measurement, the sensor and the effect of the wiring; the individual values are listed in the technical table.
