The industrial module with digital inputs and outputs is used for simple remote data acquisition, half-mile counting, signal monitoring, long-distance signal transmission or remote control of various devices. A great advantage is the support of OPC UA and MQTT communication protocols, thanks to which you can control and read inputs and outputs directly from software programs such as OPC Server, SCADA HMI, MES, ERP, cloud applications, etc.

Application areas:

  • Remote reading and writing of digital and analog inputs via OPC UA / OPC DA protocol, directly from OPC Client, e.g. KEPServerEx Kepware, OPC Router, etc.
  • Remote reading and writing of digital and analog outputs via MQTT protocols and REST interface, e.g. OPC Router, cloud systems, etc.
  • Wherever it is necessary to read signals and process them directly in the target application, i.e. not to send them first to the PLC and from there to the target application
  • When collecting production and process data from the machine, where for some reason it is not possible to read data from the PLC (machine is still under warranty, PLC program is not available, etc.)
  • When there is a need to transfer IO data over long distances over Ethernet, because two devices can be interconnected and synchronized with each other

Features:

  • 2x Digital Input
    • 24V DC  (max 30V DC)
    • 32bit pulse counter

  • 2x Digital Output
    • Digital 24V outputs
    • (12V, 48V, 110V, 230V via relay)
    • Up to 500 mA
    • Protected against short circuit

Power supply

  • 12-48V DC
  • or PoE.
  • External power supply 12-48VDC and PoE cannot be used simultaneously
