Logic, visualisation and local communication
- Automation links are configured in the web-based logic editor. The dashboard is used to display and control the system in accordance with the application created.
- The built-in MQTT broker uses Mosquitto. Configuration and network parameters are facilitated by web-based management, WuTility and the WuT launcher tool.
- The platform has 4 GB eMMC and 1 GB DDR3 RAM. Part of the storage is used by the system; the full capacity is not available as free space for application data.
- Back-up capacitors enable a controlled shutdown when the power supply is disconnected. They are not a substitute for a UPS for maintaining operation during a power failure.
Commissioning and accessories
Connect Gigabit Ethernet and PoE or 24–48 V DC power. Configure addressing and access to the web management interface, connect data sources and establish the necessary logical links. Test conditions, responses and behaviour in the event of a communication failure.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do applications run directly in logic.hub?
Yes. The device includes a logic editor, a dashboard and an MQTT broker. A computer with a web browser is used for configuration and management.
Is logic.hub the same device as rule.box with Node-RED?
logic.hub uses its own logic editor and dashboard. Functions and environments are not automatically assessed against rule.box models when selected.
Will the capacitors keep the equipment running during a prolonged power cut?
No. It is used for controlled shutdown. An appropriate backup power supply is required for uninterrupted operation.
