Usage
It is designed for connecting spatial measurement systems via a single-pair Ethernet infrastructure. Unlike standard Ethernet with RJ45, it requires a compatible SPE interface and SPoE power supply.

SPE interfaces and available data
- The base order number 57723 features a three-pole screw-type connector. Variant 57723 TB901191 features an M8 connector in accordance with IEC 63171-5 and is a different order variant.
- The measurement range is -40 to +85 °C and 0–100 % relative humidity. The permissible operating environment is assessed separately; the electronics have an IP20 rating.
- MQTT is used for transmitting values and reporting threshold conditions. Direct queries for current values are also available via HTTP and TCP sockets; push notifications are supported by the ntfy.sh service.
- Local history memory is volatile. Local data is lost when the power is disconnected; for long-term storage, ensure you use external logging or a suitable cloud solution.
Commissioning and accessories
Prepare the appropriate 10BaseT1L network interface and Class 10 SPoE power supply. Check that the connector is of the correct type, configure the network connection, MQTT and the required limits. Do not connect a standard RJ45 port with PoE without a suitable SPE adapter.

No. The device uses 10BaseT1L and SPoE Class 10. A compatible SPE network infrastructure or a suitable converter is required.

Will the local history be saved after the system is switched off?
Local memory is volatile and its contents are lost in the event of a power failure. Long-term data storage must be provided externally.
