In this intensive practical training, you will learn to obtain the maximum information from the tester and interpret it correctly in real operation. We work on a portable PROFIBUS network where we simulate faults and unstable states encountered in production.

Training for ProfiTrace 2 from Anybus
The training is intended for users of the ProfiTrace 2 tester from Anybus, HMS Networks—the brand and product portfolio previously known as Procentec.
We focus on practical work with tester functions, reading measurement results and interpreting them correctly when diagnosing PROFIBUS DP networks. This makes the course useful for both regular checks and finding the cause of a specific fault.

The course is intended for ProfiTrace2 owners and users who work with industrial PROFIBUS networks and want to deepen their practical skills.

A good follow-on to the fundamentals: this course is ideal after the two-day PROFIBUS training if you want to revisit and deepen your work with the tester. It is not a general two-day network course; it focuses on ProfiTrace2.

Intensive training at FOXON Academy
The course is held in Liberec in a classroom for up to 10 participants. Six PC workstations with ProfiTrace2 software are available; the trainer uses an interactive smart wall and adds explanatory diagrams. The training builds on more than 18 years of FOXON experience in service interventions and industrial network audits.

Is the course suitable for a new ProfiTrace2 owner?
Yes. It is designed for users who want to use the tester fully. Basic PROFIBUS knowledge helps, but practical work with the tester is the core of the course.
Is this the same as the two-day PROFIBUS course?
No. This one-day course focuses on ProfiTrace2 and interpreting its data. For broader network diagnostics fundamentals, we recommend the two-day PROFIBUS training.
Can the training be held at our company?
Yes, by arrangement. We can add measurements on your technology; a suitable room with projection equipment is required.
What will I take away?
