PROFINET RJ45 – M12 X-coded Adapter Cables for NaviTEK IE
The set contains two RJ45 male – M12 female, X-coded adapter cables, each 1 m long. It allows eight-wire PROFINET cabling terminated with M12 X-coded connectors to be tested using the NaviTEK IE tester and the remote unit. One cable connects the tester to one end of the cabling under test, while the other connects the remote unit to the opposite end.
The PROFINET RJ45 – M12 X-coded adapter cables are not included in the standard package of the NaviTEK IE tester and must be ordered separately as an optional accessory.
M12 X-coded connectors are used for four-pair Ethernet, typically for Gigabit networks and eight-wire PROFINET cabling. The adapter cables are not intended for direct connection to a device that also has an M12 female socket.
For four-wire cabling and 10/100 Mb/s networks with M12 D-coded connectors, the corresponding D-coded adapter cables must be used. PROFINET RJ45 – M12 X-coded adapter cables are not mechanically compatible with M12 D-coded connectors.
