Three built-in LEDs with well-defined colors (blue, green and orange) display the most important PROFIBUS network statuses at each station. The status of the terminating resistor (orange), whether there is bus traffic (green) and whether the connected station is participating in bus traffic (blue) are displayed. This allows the user to distinguish between fault conditions such as a bus break, a missing or incorrectly connected terminating resistor, and an incorrectly operating network participant.
