Description of training
A unique training course on PROFIBUS networks and their diagnostics, which is not based on the well-known training materials of the PI (PROFIBUS and PROFINET International) organization, but on the knowledge and practical experience of FOXON experts who have been diagnosing and repairing PROFIBUS networks since 2007. We provide participants with the information they need to understand the principles of PROFIBUS communication, network problems and how to troubleshoot and prevent them. The explanations are accompanied by practical examples and examples from our many years of experience.
For whom the training is intended
The training is for all interested parties who want to learn more about the operation, design, diagnosis and repair of PROFIBUS communication. Our training courses are mainly attended by maintenance personnel, programmers and electronics technicians. At the end of our courses, these people agree that one more colleague should have come with them to the training and that is the electrical engineer. This is because we often see undesirable situations in PROFIBUS networks that have arisen at the beginning, i.e. during the actual design of the network. We therefore also invite electrical engineers and designers to the training.
Training dates
You can find the current dates HERE.
You can purchase the training via the e-shop, pay and select the dates afterwards via the booking form.
Timetable
9AM-4PM, including short breaks and lunch break
Training location
We train at the FOXON headquarters in Liberec, Česká 615/25, Czech Republic.
We train in training room 1.
On-site parking available.
Form of training
The training is conducted in the form of attendance for a maximum of 8 participants. There are 4x PC stations in the training room and each pair of participants shares one computer. The trainer projects a PowerPoint presentation on a smart wall, where he/she writes and draws additional information as needed for a better understanding of the topic. The same PowerPoint presentation is projected on both monitors of each PC station. In the case of practical examples, one monitor of each PC station is dedicated to work with the PC station and the image of the trainer's presentation remains on the other monitor. This type of display is suitable for all participants who do not like to change their vision between the monitors and the projector.
Refreshments
Water, tea and coffee are available to participants throughout the training. Lunch is served by importing pre-ordered food and during breaks participants can enjoy small snacks.
