Signals, communication and events
- These are four shared channels, each of which can be used as either an input or an output. They are not four separate inputs in addition to the four outputs.
- The web interface supports HTTP/HTTPS. OPC UA, MQTT Publish/Subscribe, REST and Modbus TCP are available for integration; individual services and the necessary permissions are configured on the device.
- Up to 30 actions can be configured, such as an email, an SNMP trap, an output switch or an HTTP request. SNMP supports versions V1, V2 and V3.
- Box-to-Box mode transfers switching states between suitably configured Web-IO devices over the network. Correct mapping of inputs and outputs is part of the configuration.
- The inputs support 32-bit event counters. The parameters for input voltage, switching threshold and current consumption are governed by the table for this model.
Commissioning and accessories
Check the module’s power supply, common conductors, polarity and output loads. Once connected to the network, configure the IP address, access rights, required protocols and event responses. Before connecting the load, check the wiring in accordance with the manual for the specific model.

Frequently Asked Questions
How many physical channels does this model have?
These are four shared channels, each of which can be used as either an input or an output. They are not four separate inputs in addition to the four outputs.
Do I need a special programme to operate it?
A web interface is available for basic monitoring and control. A supported protocol and its access rights are configured for the host system.
Does ‘Box-to-Box’ refer to a fixed response time?
No. The typical response times shown in the table do not guarantee the overall response of the entire network. The result also depends on network communication and the configuration of both devices.
Why order from FOXON?
Before placing an order, we will check the current availability of the part and confirm the estimated delivery date. We will assist you in selecting the equipment and necessary accessories based on the wiring configuration and required communication. We will confirm the warranty terms and the scope of any diagnostics or repairs for the specific quotation.
