Measured quantities and conditions of use
- The IP67 protection rating applies to the network module. The probe has an IPX4 protection rating; the IP68 protection rating of its connectors does not imply the same level of protection for the probe as a whole. Observe the conditions for connecting and sealing the connectors.
- The combined probe measures temperature and relative humidity. In addition to direct readings, derived parameters are available, such as dew point, absolute humidity, mixing ratio and enthalpy.
- The scope of supply includes a combined probe with a 2 m cable. W&T permits the probe connection to be extended to a maximum of 20 m for this model.
- Values are updated every 4 seconds. The history is stored at separate intervals: 15 or 30 seconds, or 1, 5, 15 or 60 minutes.
- Up to 12 configurable alerts enable notifications via email or SNMP. The network module and probe have their own operating conditions; the probe’s measurement range is not the same as the module’s operating temperature.
- A humidity measurement range of 0–100 % RH does not imply that condensation on the electronics is permitted. Permissible operating conditions are specified separately in the technical table.
Commissioning and accessories
Use the appropriate connectors and seals during installation. The RJ45 network connector with IP67 protection is designed for a cable diameter of 7 mm; the circular power connector with IP68 protection is designed for a cable diameter of 5–8 mm. Connect PoE or 24–60 V DC and configure network services, history and alarms.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I extend the probe cable?
Yes. This model comes with a 2-metre cable, which can be extended to a maximum of 20 metres. Use cabling that complies with the manufacturer’s wiring specifications.
Does the probe also have an IP67 rating?
No. The module itself has an IP67 rating, but the probe is specified as IPX4. The probe’s connector is specified separately as IP68. Do not confuse the protection ratings of the individual parts.
What does the stated typical accuracy mean?
Applies under the conditions specified for the particular quantity and range in the table. When assessing these, it is necessary to distinguish between temperature, relative humidity and, where applicable, pressure, as well as long-term stability.
