The APC-5712 is a compact and rugged industrial computer designed for demanding automation environments. It is also suitable as an embedded system or as an IoT gateway for edge solutions – processing data directly at the source, at the network edge.

The device offers extensive connectivity options:

Four network LAN ports enable complex topologies, device integration, and gateway functionality.
Two USB 3.0 ports provide high-speed connections for cameras or scanners.
Two USB 2.0 ports are used for standard peripheral devices.
Two serial ports (RS232 and RS485) ensure compatibility with industrial controllers and legacy equipment.
Dedicated Mini PCIe slot expands communication capabilities with 3G/4G modules.
HDMI and DisplayPort outputs support local displays or HMIs.
Audio interface provides basic voice functionality.
Programmable LED indicators allow visual status or alarm signaling for quick diagnostics.

The SIM card slot is accessible from outside the computer. To use a SIM card, a 3G or 4G modem must be installed in the Mini PCIe slot on the computer’s motherboard. The antenna is routed via a cable to a dedicated antenna opening.
