Power Sharing protects your budget and power supply. The UPS intelligently distributes the constant input power between the load and battery charging. At low load, it sends more energy to the charger; at higher load, it prioritises supplying the load. This avoids unnecessarily oversizing the upstream AC/DC power supply.
Configuration and monitoring of the Bicker UPS using UPScom software

You can set the UPS parameters from the browser

UPScom software enables online monitoring and configuration of the DC UPS through an intuitive web interface. It displays the charge status and allows parameters to be set without a complicated service intervention.

For normal use, USB-C also works as a standard HID-UPS: supported operating systems recognize it as a UPS or battery without installing a separate driver. If a custom procedure is to be performed before the system shutdown in the event of a power outage, UPScom can control it with a script.

  • load sensor in mA and minimum load detection,
  • shutdown delay, maximum backup time and minimum charge before startup,
  • email notifications in case of loss of connection, power outage or system shutdown,
  • controlled shutdown and optional execution of a custom script before the system shutdown.

Safe shutdown and automatic computer restart

After detecting a power outage, the UPS informs the connected system via integrated interfaces. The computer can properly save data and shut down instead of being suddenly disconnected. When input voltage returns, the Reboot function automatically restarts the powered device — especially useful for autonomous systems in hard-to-reach places.

USB-C in HID-UPS mode is recognized by the operating system as a standard UPS without a special driver. RS485 Modbus RTU gives the possibility to read status data and control backup logic directly from PLC or SCADA.

Practical features that help in real operation

The UPSI-2406R2DP3MB does more than bridge a power outage with a battery. It continuously evaluates the load, stored energy status and configured shutdown procedure, helping protect data and connected equipment without unnecessary downtime.

Short-term power peaks

The DP3 variant can handle up to 192 W of power for a short time when starting the load. The power reserve is monitored in a time window, so it helps with start-up peaks, but does not represent permanent extra power.

Controlled shutdown

The shutdown logic can be linked to the minimum state of charge, maximum backup time, a time schedule or a drop in load. This gives the control system time to save data, stop the process and only then disconnect the output.

Long life in practice

Good airflow and a reasonable depth of discharge benefit the LiFePO₄ battery. Correctly sizing the power to be backed up therefore protects the equipment and also extends battery life.
