NTC sensor and temperature recording
- The supplied sensor connects via a DB9 connector. According to W&T, the 1 m cable is not intended for use as an extension lead. This model does not feature a Pt100/Pt1000 input.
- The measurement resolution is 0.1 °C and updates occur every 4 seconds. The recording interval is set separately.
- The 4 MB internal memory stores a history ranging from 16 weeks to 20 years, depending on the recording interval. This refers to the recording capacity, not a guarantee of service life.
- Up to 12 alarm messages can be configured. Data and alerts are also available via email, SNMP and other supported network services.
Commissioning and accessories
Place the probe in the measurement area and the module in conditions appropriate to its IP20 rating. Connect the network and a suitable power supply, then set the IP address, logging interval and alarm limits. Do not connect an extension cable to the NTC sensor.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can the sensor cable be extended?
No. For model 57114, the manufacturer specifies a 1 m cable, which cannot be extended. For other locations, a suitable measurement solution must be selected.
Can I connect a Pt100 or Pt1000?
No. This model uses a 10k NTC sensor. For Pt100/Pt1000, select a model with the appropriate measurement input.
Do I need a computer to store the history?
The device’s internal memory stores its own history. A computer or other client is used to display and process the data.
