How to use OPC Router to connect OT and IT systems data with each other

OPC Router is a software program that allows you to connect data from various industrial devices and IT/OT systems to each other. All this quickly, automatically and without programming knowledge. In addition, you can see all data flows in a clear visualization.

Collect data, connect systems, perform calculations, compare values and enter results into databases. You can do all this with OPC Router for PLC systems, OPC servers, printers, RFID readers, emails, Excel spreadsheets, databases, cloud systems, MQTT brokers, ERP systems SAP R3, SAP HANA, etc. For installation on a single computer you need a basic module and one or more plug-in modules.

OPC Router, basic module

OPC Router is a modular software system that consists of a base module (core in the middle) and plug-in modules (around). You need the core module and at least one plug-in module to install it on one computer. Trial version of OPC Router with all plug-in modules is available for download, works for 2hrs. If you need more time to test it, contact our technical support and ask for up to 7 days free trial version.

The OPC Router supports a large number of interfaces and systems that can be easily connected via plug-in modules. You can connect specific systems by combining individual plug-in modules. You select the plug-in modules according to where you need to move data from and to.

Basic module includes:

  • Calculator for basic and advanced mathematical and logical functions,
  • possibility to use custom variables and constant values,
  • text substitution,
  • possibility to work with .XML/.JSON/.CSV files (read, write, delete),
  • time trigger for a variety of events,
  • possibility to extend OPC Router functionality via scripts in .NET C# language

OPC Router, Plug-in modules

You can buy the plug-in modules separately or all in one convenient bundle.

The most popular plug-ins include:

  • OPC UA module for collecting data from OPC UA servers,
  • module for storing data into SQL database,
  • module for data conversion to MQTT protocol
  • and a module for communication with SAP R3 and SAP HANA.

How to order an OPC Router?

You can buy OPC Router licenses in our shop:

  • as a one-time (Perpetual license, paid once) + ideally a yearly paid Update& Support program
  • as a rental (Subscription license, paid annually), the rental price includes the Update& Support program, i.e. regular updates and technical support

With the purchase of the Basic Module and Plug-in Modules, you must purchase a support package for the first year (update & support). It will be added to your cart in the store automatically. After or during the first year, you can purchase support for additional years, which is recommended.

You can run the OPC Router on the server as well as on EDGE devices such as industrial computers NODKA.

Do you have any idea and do you know if it could be solved with OPC Router?
